Horse Training & Purebread Charolais Cattle

CHAROLAIS CATTLE:

Eastern Cowboy has been raising purebred Charolais cattle for over thirty years. We have  quality bulls, cows and heifers for sale. You will see the cattle grazing on our land when you visit the ranch or stay at the cottages.

 
HORSE TRAINING
Horses are also trained here on the ranch in a safe and humane manner. Abuse of an animal is not tolerated here at The Eastern Cowboy. Many of these horses have come here from different backgrounds. Most of them are untrained, some have bad habits like kicking, biting, rearing etc. In a lot of cases, many of these horses have been started wrong as young colts or have been abused physically by a previous owner who tried to train them on their own. They are well kept and fed while here.


At the end of training, the horse will be able to be tied up, saddled, stand while mounting, basic turns, stop and back up. They will also be exposed to machinery, cattle and a variety of other sights and sounds.
